Without further ado we would like to announce the release of ConnectedText version 4.0. Reading the Change Log you will see a lot of new features, like:
- Case sensitivity in the topic names is now maintained;
- Improved full text search with per term highlighting;
- New Graph command;
- New Semantic extensions;
- New full text search predicates;
- New Image and File manager
- Hoist support in Outline view;
- Improved Syntax highlighter;
- XML import/export;
- Summary view;
- Improved completion proposal system;
- USB version now supports USB/Firewire external hard drives;
- And much more!
As you see there are many new things to explore in ConnectedText 4. But that is not the end of road. There are many more to come. We want to hear from you what do you think about ConnectedText
For those upgrading from previous versions, there is important information you should know before installing version 4.0.
Version 4.0 would not be possible without the help of our users who used ConnectedText during the beta cycle. Many took great lengths to help track down problems. Special thanks to Jacek Drobnik for designing the new splash screen and for his invaluable suggestions.
If you want to try ConnectedText just download it and start working immediately. If you tried ConnectedText before we invite you for a new trial period so you can see why more and more people are choosing ConnectedText.
And don't forget our nice frame at our office. We couldn't fill it yet with photos of ConnectedText users. So if you have a nice picture of you that you can share please send it with you name and city. We will not make any other use of it.

Version 4.0 will be released on 09/22. Some prices will change so if you haven't purchased ConnectedText buy now and receive 4.0 for free. Here you can find information about upgrading ConnectedText. Some information subject to change until version 4.0 release.

No, no new version. Yet.
Many may be asking: What are you doing? Now you can know! If you want to know are are keeping us busy follow our quest of the holly PIM in Twitter.
We also have a request, a simple one. We set up a nice frame in one wall of our office. Currently it contains nothing. We want to fill it with photos of ConnectedText users. So if you have a nice picture of you that you can share please send it with you name and city. We will not make any other use of it.

We are proud to announce the first 2009 release of ConnectedText. You will find many new features and improvements. It shows that we continue trailing the same path, trying to reach new levels to match the expectations of our users. Thanks again to them for their suggestions and helping us to test ConnectedText.
Version 3.1.0.4 includes a new Graphviz plugin version that do not requires the installation of an ActiveX component. It works with the regular distribution from AT&T enabling its use under Windows Vista.
